Everest

Everest dice game is a simple race game with objective to become the first player to mark 24 squares in a board containing numbered squares from 1 to 12. The game is played with 3 six-sided dice and resembles Centennial dice game with some variations.

No Of Players: 2 – 8

Setup:

3 six-sided dice and a scoresheet (such as below) for each player. The scoresheet contains 24 squares marked with numbers between 1 to 12.

First Turn:

Roll one die to decide. Player rolling highest number goes first. In case of a tie re-roll.

Everest Dice Game Play:

Players take turn clockwise to roll all 3 dice once and mark a square in the board. The rules of the game are as following

  • Players can mark only one square in each turn.
  • All possible combinations can be used for marking. For ex, if 1, 2, 3 were rolled, then any one of the squares numbered 1, 2, 3, 4 (3+1), 5 (3+2), 6 (1+2+3) can be marked. Once a square is marked, turn is passed to the next player.
  • If no combination can be marked, then turn is simply passed to the next player.
  • The first player to mark all 24 squares wins the game.
